The weather in February is on a slow incline towards summer, working up to warmer temperatures. You will certainly see an improvement on the climate of January, with hotter days and less rainfall. New York Times Travel Show is an ultimate travel and tourism industries worldwide. The event is a must-attend for anyone who loves traveling and exploring the beauty of nature.
In 2019 the New York Times Travel Show took place on 25-27 January at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center New York. Over 500 exhibitors representing 150 countries separated into 14 Pavillions was on hand with their information to speak about booking your next dream vacation. The 2018 edition reached a record 30,099 participants – the highest Attendance in our show history. Attendance included 9,253 travel trade and 20,846 consumer attendees during the thre-day event. Participating exhibitors also hit a new record with 560 companies representing over 170 countries. Over 1,300 accredited media journalists from around the world visits the show. Dedicated trade conference draws in over 10,000 high-value travel proffessionals.
February Events and Festivities

Tumba is an Aruban genre of music unique to the Dutch Caribbean with roots in both Africa and Europe. The songs created for this Carnival competition must be sung in Aruba’s native language, Papiamento. The lyrics written for each song must be related to carnival, and often include humor and satire related to current events on the island.


As one of the oldest immigrants of our island we have their culture in our roots.Here on the island it is always celebrated the sunday before.
